Farewell Mr Collins

The pupils, parents and staff of Scoil Naomh Feichín came together at the end of the school year to thank Mr Collins for his commitment to Scoil Naomh Feichín over the course of a long teaching career of 40 years and to wish him well in his retirement. A number of funtions and events were organised before the school closed for the summer break and Mr Collins got a great send off !!! He will be missed................... 

Special Attendance Award

Lucas Gorman's fantastic acheievement of having had an exemplary attendance record over the course of his primary school years was recognised when Lucas was presented with an Full Attendance Award at the end of year graduation ceremony for 6th class pupils. Congratulations Lúcas !!!

Student of the Year 2025

Congratulations to 6th class pupil, Edith Maguire, who was voted Student of the Year 2025. Edith was presented with the very special annual award at the graduation ceremony for 6th class pupils at the end of June.

Class Stationery Lists

Each class teacher has prepared an individual class stationery list for the pupils in her class for the new school year 2025/26. These are small additional items not covered under the government's Free Schoolbooks Grant Scheme. Please ensure that all pupils have been supplied with these items before the school reopens at the end of August.  Click the link below the get a copy of each class list.

Additional items of stationery for pupils in Junior & Senior Infants and for pupils in special classes are supplied by the school.

 

Grandparents Day - June 5th 2025

The pupils of second class invited their parents and grandparents to come along to the school to celebrate "Grandparents Day" on June 5th. It was a wonderful afternoon of entertainment and fun with Mrs Dowd's class putting on a great show for all of the special visitors. End of Year School Reports

The annual school reports will be emailed to parents/guardians over the coming weeks. Here's a video which explains the purpose and value of end-of-year reports, highlighting how they reflect a child's learning and development beyond test scores. Hopefully, you find this useful.
